Straight talk on what I charge and why. No “free inspection” that leads to a sales pitch — just honest, itemized pricing for honest, independent work.
Why I Charge for My Services
If you’ve worked with roofing contractors before, you’re probably used to “free inspections.” Here’s the problem: those inspections aren’t really free. The cost gets built into whatever that contractor charges if you hire them for the job.
I’m not a contractor. I don’t have a crew, I don’t install shingles, and I don’t make money on the back end of a replacement. That means I charge directly for my time and expertise, the same way you’d pay a home inspector or appraiser. In return, you get an opinion that has nothing riding on the outcome.
Not Sure Which One You Need?
If you’ve got hail or wind damage, an estimate that seems off, or you’re just not sure where to start — the inspection is almost always the right first step. It’s how I figure out what’s actually going on with your roof before recommending anything else.
Most people start with the inspection. It’s the foundation everything else builds on, and it’ll tell you — honestly — whether the other services even make sense for your roof.

No upsell. If your roof doesn’t qualify for a claim, I’ll tell you that too.
